The size of the file would be around 1,000,000KB in size if the words would have been simply listed alphabetically without any compression. This is an amazing fact.

In computers, data is stored in what are called data structures. These data structures represent information in computer memory. The information in the data structures can be represented in compressed form.

This compressed form is what allows to store a file that should be about 1,000,000kb into a file that is only 350kb in size.
