Quick Start Guide:

To Spell Check In Any Windows Program:

  • Make sure the text you want to spell check is in focus—meaning the blinking typing caret is visible anywhere inside the text.

  • To spell check press F11 on the keyboard, or click the spell check button on the caption of the application near the minimize button.

  • Highlight a region of text, otherwise the entire document is spell checked.

  • You can change the F11 hotkey to any other key you desire.

  • You can select to hide or display the spell check button on all programs.

For Thesaurus or Dictionary Lookup In Any Windows Program:

  • In any Windows application:

    • Highlight the word you want to look up in the Thesaurus or Dictionary.

    • Press F11 on the keyboard, or click the spell check button on the caption bar.

  • While a document is being spell checked:

    • Select the word you want to lookup from the correctly spelled words suggestions.

    • Click on the Thesaurus button or Dictionary button.

To Use HyperNotepad:

  • To take quick notes with HyperNotepad, press F10 on your keyboard-- no matter in what application you are in.  Your work will not be interrupted. 

  • Notes automatically save and open.  No need to open files and save files.

  • To dismiss the HyperNotepad, click Close, or press ESC on your keyboard.

  • You can change the F10 hotkey to any other key you desire.

To Use Speed Typing:

  • Double click on the Spell Check Anywhere Icon on your desktop.  Or, press F9 on the keyboard—anytime and in any application.

  • Select "Speed Typing Setup” from the menu.

  • Define your speed typing keywords, and their full text definition.

  • Then in any application and at any time:

    • Type the speed typing keyword, and press the space key, speed typing will replace the keyword with its full text definition.

    • Or press F9 on the keyboard, then select from the menu the speed typing keyword, its full text definition will be inserted into your document.
